Awesome little campground. Not alot for kids to do but its quiet and the ppl there were extremely nice.
I currently stay here. Love the park BUT, as most of you know Harvey just left leaving devistation in it's wake. My husband works on the pipeline and hasn't had hardly any work since a couple days before Harvey made landfall. Needless to say, rent is due. We are two weeks behind because of a natural disaster and today we got an eviction notice that gives us 3 days to leave. WTH!? Our hearts are already broken as we can't afford even basic necessities and they throw us to the wolves.
Been here going on 2 months and it has been an enjoyable stay so far. Sometimes where I am the parking is a little crowded, but what do you expect when you have the largest camper in the park. The place is clean and management is always friendly. They have gone out of there way to make everyone welcome from what I have seen so far. Prices are better then most places in the area and it is close enough to town it isn't an inconvenience. These other people who have had issues in some of the other reviews either one of 2 things happened. 1 they haven't stayed recently or 2 they were the problem. Most likely from what I have seen it is most likely 2.
To many kid's running around with no place for them to play other then in between people's campers. Not a bad place other then we had no WiFi for months. P.S get the kids a safe place to play other then the road.
This place is wonderful. The management is great and the prices are affordable. We have been here 2 times now and have been monthly renters both times. It is in a good location SE of Houston about 20 min from Galveston, 10 min to Kemah and 15 min from 45. The area is not as nice as others but the ease of the location and benefits here outway the less than great surroundings. I can say that over the last 6 months there has been a lot of improvements with the quality of renters. The previous manager had allowed anyone willing to pay to stay no matter what negatives were brought with. You can see some of that in the reviews with people that needed to go leaving nasty untrue reviews. We have been here a total of 6-8 months and seen a lot be evicted and a ton of improvements to the park. It's beautiful, has a great pond you can fish in, 2 laundry facilities and shower facilities and stayed dry the entire time through hurricane Harvey! So if you are looking for a great place to stay and a diamond in the rough come here!
